Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, including ordering and interpreting lab tests. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while prescribing medications and offering expert guidance, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain accurate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. This role requires a licensed physician working 15 core hours weekly from 8AM-6PM locally, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
