Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality decisions. Prescribe medications with expert guidance, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine in opioid addiction cases. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
