Job Summary
Telemedicine Physician position with QuickMD offering virtual care across 44 states, with substantial schedule flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere. Compensation highlighted includes $35 per consult and potential to exceed $400K annually for top performers, with in-person hybrid opportunities available. Responsibilities include conducting virtual patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, interpreting labs, prescribing medications (buprenorphine allowed for opioid addiction treatment), maintaining medical documentation, and staying current with telehealth best practices. Requirements include multi-state medical licensing (minimum three states, preferably five), willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance/costs covered), telehealth or high-volume in-person experience, scheduling at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local, four days a week), DEA certification with CSL if required, comfort with EMRs, and a commitment to expanding access to care. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Excellent patient care and ability to provide virtual care across multiple states
- No prohibited substances and safe prescribing practices (buprenorphine permitted for opioid addiction treatment)
- Malpractice insurance coverage provided
- Onboarding training may include buprenorphine training
- 1099 provided at year-end
