Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment, including ordering lab tests and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine). Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships while collaborating with support staff to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Commit to working 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining licenses in high-demand states like CA, FL, NC, PA, and TX. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
