Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through telemedicine platforms, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment across addiction medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care backgrounds. Maintain therapeutic doctor-patient relationships, order/interpret labs, prescribe medications (buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment allowed; not for controlled substances otherwise), and collaborate with a support team to ensure comprehensive care. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling (minimum 15 core hours per week), full virtual practice with potential in-person hybrid opportunities, multi-state licensing with assistance offered for new states, and a compensation model highlighting high earnings potential (average >$200/hour with many providers surpassing $400K annually). Requires active medical license in multiple states, DEA certification, CSL as applicable, telehealth or high-volume experience, and dedication to expanding access to care in underserved communities. Malpractice insurance is fully covered, and onboarding includes applicable buprenorphine training. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five)
- Licensed in at least five states and/or CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local) over four days
- DEA certification and CSL (if required)
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- Malpractice insurance coverage
- 1099/independent contractor arrangement
Desired Qualifications
