Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, history reviews, and medical treatment while ordering labs and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine). Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and complete required training including buprenorphine protocols. Schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly between 8AM-6PM locally over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. This role supports addiction treatment and expands access to care across underserved communities within a streamlined, no-administrative-burden environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
