Job Summary
Lead Health Center personnel development, manage medical compliance and regulatory oversight, and integrate with business partners to provide senior physician expertise. Conduct strategic review and planning while maintaining union interface and delivering quality occupational medical services. Requires 5+ years of supervisory experience, an M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification, and a valid Michigan medical license. This onsite role at the Pontiac STPG facility may include relocation benefits and a company vehicle program.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical and supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to communicate, motivate, and inspire direct reports and others
- Ability to champion and lead change within work groups and departments
- Demonstrates innovative and strategic thinking
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be comfortable traveling between facilities
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
- Board certification in a medical specialty
- Board certification in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and family medicine are also acceptable
- Valid state medical license for the state of Michigan
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle (eligible after motor vehicle report review)
- Must be available for onsite work at the Pontiac STPG facility
- Must be available for weekend shifts
