Install and repair EquipmentShare's telematics system and devices on vehicles and construction equipment; involves testing machinery, handling ignition and CAN-network wiring, confirming communication between keypad and telematics, and resolving installation challenges across multiple sites within the region. Requires travel to client sites or rental yards, ability to operate basic tools, and readiness for occasional after-hours work; role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and customer-facing responsibilities while supporting the EquipmentShare platform.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Trade School Certificate preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience in related field preferred (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer)
- Prior telematics/mobile electronics experience not required; training provided
- Able to travel within 250 mile radius for up to a week
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Drug screen required for safety-sensitive role
