Job Summary
Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, and customer assets, operating machinery as needed for testing. Remove and replace ignition systems, then integrate communication between keypads and telematics networks. Resolve installation problems by analyzing information and developing alternative solutions for complex wiring harnesses and CAN network access. Travel to client sites or rental yards within a 250-mile radius for installation cases. Occasionally work outside business hours and on weekends. This role supports EquipmentShare's mission to transform the construction industry through real-time technology and offers competitive pay ranging from $20-30/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Hard-working
- Eager to learn
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience in a related field, e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, etc
- Mobile Electronics Installer
- Automotive Electronics Technician
- 12V Technician
- Own tools
- Hard worker with excellent attention to detail
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be open to traveling within a 250 mile radius of our local branch for up to a week at a time
- Must be able to drive
- Must be able to maneuver in tight spaces
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to lift more than 25 lb
- Must be clean shaven
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
