Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Complete required training, including buprenorphine certification, and work 15 core hours weekly from 8AM-6PM locally. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
