Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance, noting that controlled substances are excluded except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation for continuity. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovations. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, and complete required DEA and buprenorphine training. Work 15-20 hours weekly with full schedule flexibility and industry-leading compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
