Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff. Maintain medical documentation for continuity of care while staying current on telehealth innovations. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered relationships and schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities with industry-leading compensation and flexible, administrative-light practice.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
