Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment while ordering and interpreting lab tests. Prescribe medications and guide proper usage, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine in opioid addiction cases. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate medical documentation. Stay current on medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Commit to 15-20 hours weekly, with core hours typically between 8AM-6PM locally.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX (three or more of these states)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
