Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity of care and stay up to date with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Commit to at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, scheduling at least one week in advance. Hold an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and obtain a DEA certification. Join QuickMD to expand access to care in underserved communities, focusing on addiction treatment, weight management, and general telehealth services within a streamlined practice environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
- As part of the onboarding process, all physicians are required to complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training
Desired Qualifications
