Job Summary
Conduct virtual patient assessments, review medical histories, and prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine) to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions while collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with onboarding including required buprenorphine training. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through streamlined EMR technology and flexible practice settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
