Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and a dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity of care and stay up to date with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. This role requires at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with a preference for physicians licensed in five U.S. states. Candidates must hold an active medical license and DEA certification, with assistance provided for additional state licensure. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
Desired Qualifications
- Background in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care
- Active medical license in at least five states (preferred over three)
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
