Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain appropriate medical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification. Commit to 15-20 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days, scheduling at least one week in advance. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX (three or more of these states)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
