Job Summary
Conduct virtual patient assessments, review medical histories, and provide treatment for addiction, weight management, and general care. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive outcomes. Maintain medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Commit to 15-20 weekly hours (8AM-6PM) with flexibility to work from anywhere. Requires active multi-state medical license, DEA certification, and experience in telehealth or high-volume settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
