Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain medical documentation for continuity. Collaborate with nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care while building therapeutic relationships. Stay current on medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Commit to at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with scheduling one week in advance. Complete required training including buprenorphine certification. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities with streamlined EMR support and no administrative burdens.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
