Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform decisions. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by building therapeutic relationships, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff. Maintain rigorous medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining licenses in states like CA, FL, NC, PA, and TX. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities with industry-leading compensation and no administrative burdens.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
