Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, while prescribing medications and guiding proper usage, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation for continuity. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, scheduling one week in advance. Complete required training, including buprenorphine modules. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities with industry-leading compensation and full schedule flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
