Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and medical advancements. Commit to a schedule of at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with scheduling one week in advance. Hold an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and a DEA certification. Join QuickMD to expand access to addiction treatment and general care in underserved communities using streamlined EMR technology.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
