Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, including prescribing medications except controlled substances. Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality decisions while maintaining rigorous medical documentation for continuity. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care across addiction and general telehealth services. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and complete required DEA and buprenorphine training. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly between 8AM and 6PM locally over four days.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
