Job Summary
Operate telehandler equipment to safely load, unload, and move materials while performing routine inspections and basic maintenance. Support the setup and breakdown of logistics operations at deployment sites, assist with other material handling tasks, and follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with logistics team members to meet operational needs and perform other job-related duties as assigned. This seasonal role involves working in a variety of environmental conditions, including outdoor and potentially hazardous settings. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying conditions, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential, particularly during emergency deployments requiring travel on short notice.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Telehandler Operator Certification
- Prior experience operating a telehandler in logistics or emergency response
- Flexibility to work irregular hours—such as nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments during disaster responses
- Availability to deploy with short notice
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
