Job Summary
Telecommunications Technician for a 3-month engagement involving training delivery and development. Responsibilities include facilitating employee training and onboarding using approved materials, delivering technical instruction with lectures, hands-on activities, labs, and assessments; providing remediation and support to achieve learning outcomes; coordinating with trainers, managers, and leadership; tracking and compiling data for training reports; documenting employee performance and outcomes; reviewing, testing, and providing feedback on training materials; preparing and maintaining training facilities; staying current on data center tools and infrastructure best practices; coordinating enrollment, schedules, and equipment; developing and coordinating training schedules; assessing training needs via surveys and interviews; supporting development of new training materials; communicating training needs and online resources; coaching Associate Trainers; and traveling as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 6-9 years field industry experience of installation of structured cabling – preferably fiber
- Telecommunication Industry Certifications, preferably BICSI
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Travel as needed
