Job Summary
Manage telecommunications projects including small cell deployments, fiber optic infrastructure, wireless facilities, utility coordination, and related civil/site development improvements. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, utility companies, municipalities, and internal project teams while coordinating schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget completion. Oversee engineering plans, specifications, permit applications, and construction documents through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Monitor project progress, resolve scope or budget issues, and support construction administration activities including RFIs and submittal reviews. Assist with proposal preparation, scope development, and fee estimates. Full-time role based in Wall, New Jersey. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 10+ years of experience managing telecommunications or infrastructure projects. PE license preferred. Salary range $115,000 to $140,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience managing telecommunications, utility, or infrastructure-related projects within a consulting engineering or multidisciplinary engineering environment
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure including fiber optic systems, wireless facilities, utility coordination, and permitting processes
- Strong understanding of project management principles including budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, and client management
- Experience coordinating with municipalities, utility companies, regulatory agencies, and telecommunications carriers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Revit, O-Calc, tnxTower, RISA, and other structural analysis software is preferred
- Familiarity with applicable telecommunications and structural design standards and codes including TIA-222, AISC, and ACI
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure is preferred
- PMP certification is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
