Job Summary
Support the design, integration, and testing of satellite telecommunications payload systems and contribute to the development and validation of digital communications architectures. Perform subsystem testing, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and reliability while collaborating with systems, hardware, software, and integration teams throughout the development lifecycle. Assist in requirements analysis, system verification, and technical documentation, then analyze test results to support continuous improvement of payload performance. Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and technical presentations. This role is based in Montreal, Quebec, with hybrid or remote options for exceptional candidates, requiring immediate start and full-time commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be eligible to obtain the required security clearance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in space systems, satellite communications, or a related engineering discipline
- Foundational knowledge of: Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Foundational knowledge of: RF Systems
- Foundational knowledge of: Telecommunications Architectures
- Experience with testing satellite subsystems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting satellite payload development, integration, or verification activities
- Familiarity with digital communications, RF testing, and systems engineering principles
- Experience working in aerospace, satellite communications, or telecommunications environments
- Knowledge of satellite payload architectures and subsystem integration
