Job Summary

Review FAA databases to draft Site Survey Reports and coordinate schedules with SSC, ES, and Verizon personnel. Conduct site surveys, generate drawings, and develop transition plans for converting National Airspace Connectivity from TDM to IP. Draft Project Risk Plans, Operational Risk Management Plans, and briefings on District status while resolving schedule conflicts. Accompany unbadged personnel at facilities and work with LECs on interstate service flows and cutovers. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, 2+ years of experience, and ability to travel up to 75%. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required for Public Trust Security Clearance.

  • Resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working with Telco systems performing Network Troubleshooting
  • Proficient working with AutoCAD or similar tools
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Knowledge of National Fire Protection Assoc (NFPA) standards
  • Knowledge of National Airspace System Equipment Tower
  • Knowledge of OSHA and general construction and electrical safety standards
  • Knowledge of NAS facilities such as ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG
