Telecommunications Consultant

Analyze telecommunications needs of Yosemite National Park and develop comprehensive strategies to enhance connectivity and high-tech solutions. Provide technical, contracting, and legal advice to leadership to define system-design parameters, evaluate trends, and develop long- and short-term plans for employee communication and visitor experience. Coordinate with external stakeholders to identify cost-effective partnerships and represent the park as a technical expert for interagency planning committees across the Pacific West Region. While not operational, assist the Telecommunications Branch in expeditiously remediating significant connectivity incidents and participating in after-action analysis. This role requires a minimum of 20 years of federal communications experience or a relevant degree, with proficiency in Windows and MS Word.
