Job Summary
Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region, including managing computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber optics. Install, update, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring asset accountability and detailed maintenance records. Use advanced electrical theory and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and calibrate electronic equipment to stringent specifications. The role is Full-Time and supports remote work with substantial travel; requires ability to obtain government security clearances and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED mandatory
- Preference for an Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Solid foundation in computers, data networks, digital video systems and fiber optics
- Understanding of telecommunications systems (transmission, broadcasting, switching, control)
- Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, hardware and software applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued security clearances
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel ~75%
