Job Summary
Decommission and disassemble telecom systems at client locations, removing, sorting, and palletizing equipment for reuse, recycling, or disposal. Use hand and power tools to dismantle infrastructure while labeling, inventorying, and documenting materials per established protocols. Load and transport equipment to designated facilities, maintaining accurate project records and submitting required field documentation and photos. Follow all safety procedures and site-specific policies, including FCC-regulated environments and hazardous material handling. Perform routine maintenance on assigned tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring proper handling of sensitive data per R2 standards. Travel extensively, including overnight stays, while collaborating with project personnel to meet timelines. Maintain a clean work environment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs

- On occasion, may work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold
- Regular travel required (up to 75%), including overnight and out-of-state assignments
- Flexible hours, including overtime during evenings and weekends, depending on project needs
- Exposure to FCC-regulated environments on a daily basis
- Comfortable working in indoor FCC-regulated environments
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory records and storage areas effectively
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve inventory goals
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and best practices
- Solid understanding of telecommunication electronic components and peripheral hardware
- Willingness to work hard and stay motivated
- Excellent attendance record
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
- Proven experience in electronics disassembly, sorting, or recycling processes, preferably with telecommunications electronics
- Solid understanding of electronic components, their functionalities, and identification
- Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in electronics disassembly and sorting
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to electronics recycling
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to ensure accurate sorting and recording of components
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability
- Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records
- Ability to interact professionally with customers
