Job Summary
Perform hands-on engineering for AV/VTC networks, SBC platforms, and call routing infrastructure while executing approved configuration changes and documenting results. Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting and root cause analysis for voice and video transport issues, serving as on-shift technical authority to validate administrative actions and maintain operational continuity. Apply engineering-approved patches for vulnerability remediation and coordinate with carriers on technical matters to ensure alignment with enterprise policy. Maintain audit-ready logs and support continuity testing to uphold network specifications.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering with at least one (1) year of experience in that field
- associate degree in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering with at least eight (8) years of experience (four (4) years related to telecommunications systems or networks)
- equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and directly related experience
- relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification), or other comparable industry credential supporting telecommunications and network operations
- experience in the analysis and design of voice/video networks, LAN/WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems supporting voice/video and data services
- IT-I Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at the time of proposal submission

- experience working with DoD/DLA
