Job Summary
Secure your safety and assist line-workers in meeting project goals while performing new fiber cable construction or maintenance work. Operate vehicles and equipment, inspect rubber goods and personal protective equipment, and maintain company tools in good working order. Perform rigorous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing structures, and working outside in inclement weather. Join storm restoration efforts during times of need and receive continuing training to improve technical and leadership skills. This role requires the ability to travel long distances at short notice, work extended periods in multiple locations, and follow established safety rules and company policy.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read/write and communicate effectively.
- Able to travel long distances at short notice.
- Able to work for extended periods in multiple locations, when required.
- Able to lift an excess of 50 lbs.
- Willing to work overtime when requested.
- Able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.
- Dutifully follow established Safety Rules and Company Policy.
