Job Summary
Telecom Construction Laborer responsible for assisting underground FTTH construction crews with site preparation, trenching, conduit and fiber installation, loading/unloading materials, operating basic hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean, safe job site outdoors. Works as part of a fast-paced field team to support fiber network expansion, follow safety protocols, and report hazards. Requires ability to perform physically demanding tasks, willingness to travel to multiple job sites in Florida (Belle Glade, Loxahatchee, Clewiston), and valid transportation or driver’s license; OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, manual labor, tool operation, and adherence to safety in outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow safety protocols.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the job site.
