Job Summary
Teleaudiology Provider delivers comprehensive remote audiology services to patients and clinic staff via a secure video platform, functioning as an extension of the in-clinic care team. Responsibilities spanRemote Clinical Care & Patient Management (conduct evaluations via video, guide in-clinic staff remotely, interpret results, recommend hearing aids, provide patient counseling, ensure ongoing satisfaction), Remote Sales & Treatment Support (guide patients through device selection and purchasing, support case acceptance, educate on options), Technical Troubleshooting & Support (remote programming, device connectivity, sound quality improvements), Clinic & Staff Collaboration (coordination to optimize patient flow, train staff on remote care), Program Development & Process Improvement (develop workflows for remote testing and sales processes, drive regulatory compliance and documentation quality), Credentialing, Compliance & Billing Support (participate in credentialing for billing and maintain licensure across applicable states). Additional duties include providing real-time support across multiple clinics and adapting to evolving telehealth practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active audiology license in applicable states
- Proven experience delivering tele-audiology services
- Experience using secure video platforms for remote patient care
- Ability to interpret audiology test results and provide clinical diagnoses remotely
- Familiarity with hearing aid selection, fitting, and patient education via telehealth
- Credentialing and billing knowledge for tele-audiology
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to troubleshoot device/software connectivity issues remotely
- Compliance with telehealth regulations and documentation standards
