Job Summary
Tele-Psychiatrist sought for 100% virtual care with Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. The physician will join the Department of Psychiatry to help evaluate and treat hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses, and will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team. The role follows a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule. Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired. Candidates must be licensed in Texas and reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or Georgia. The position is supported by Houston Methodist’s competitive salary and benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified Psychiatrist
- Licensed in Texas
- Reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or Georgia
- 100% virtual telepsychiatry
- Four-day, 10-hour shift schedule
- Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry strongly desired
