Job Summary
Tele-Interviewer role in a remote, full-time call-center environment. Responsible for conducting thorough telephone interviews with insurance applicants, documenting lifestyle and medical-history details via questionnaires, and transcribing responses with accuracy. Responsibilities include scheduling and completing 20–60 minute interviews, handling inbound/outbound calls, ensuring adherence to the interview script, collaborating with the team to meet quality assurance and productivity goals, and providing follow-up as needed. Requires a college diploma in health sciences or related field, customer-service experience in a high-volume setting, familiarity with medical terminology, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Remote work setup with 85% phone-based activity and an hourly pay rate of $19.35, plus benefits; prior medical environment experience is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in Health Sciences or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service
- Experience in a high-volume call centre environment requiring manual call transcription
- Other languages an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
