Job Summary
Part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) providing in-home and center-based therapeutic services for youth in Northern New Jersey. Responsibilities include individual in-home therapy, group and telehealth sessions, and outpatient center sessions; deliver coping and social skills training, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors (e.g., SIB, aggression); collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team; complete intake, treatment planning, DAP notes, and other clinical documentation; participate in monthly meetings; may complete or train in Bio-Psycho-Social assessments; maintain a minimum 2–3 client caseload; requires NJ licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LAC/LSW/LFT) and a Master’s degree; must pass background checks and drug screen; 6–10 hours per week after-school; 25–30 minute commuting considerations within NJ; location noted as Paterson, NJ. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT)
- post-internship field experience with youth mental health disorders
- experience with treatment planning, progress notes, and initial assessments
- experience with CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- ability to use DSM-V for assessments and diagnosis
- availability for 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours (12noon–8pm)
- minimum caseload of 2–3 clients for part-time staff
- valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- pass state and federal background checks

- resume and degree/license copies
- authorization to work in the U.S. without current/future visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- state reciprocity considerations within 25–30 minutes of service areas
