Job Summary
Licensed mental health therapist sought for part-time, in-home and telehealth services for youth in New Jersey. Provide individual in-home therapy and telehealth sessions; perform bio-psycho-social assessments; support coping, social skills, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors; help improve decision-making for youth and caretakers; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; complete intake, treatment plans, DAP notes, and other documentation; participate in monthly meetings; willing to train in assessments; must meet state licensing requirements and available 12pm-8pm with 2-3-client caseload. Requires Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields, relevant clinical trainings, and NJ driver’s license; no visa sponsorship; location: Willingboro, NJ, with in-home visits across southern to central NJ as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training or willingness to complete
- Post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience
- Experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments
- Experience with counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
