Job Summary
Establish IT, data, and AI direction by creating roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and defining governance models for the entire group. Manage the system portfolio by ensuring ownership, licensing oversight, data quality, and change management across production, logistics, and project operations. Build a unified data foundation through master data principles, integrations, and cross-company analysis while leading AI implementation from pilot to practical use in daily workflows. Ensure secure AI usage by establishing information security guidelines and access controls. Define external partner requirements, drive adoption through training and user environments, and measure impact via improved decision-making and reduced manual processes. Map existing systems, integrations, and data sources within the first year to establish a clear management framework and clean reporting grounds. Collaborate closely with production, finance, and leadership to drive data-driven decisions that directly affect margins and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- evidence of experience with technology, data, business systems, integrations, platforms, analytics, AI, product development, or digital transformation
- evidence of leading projects, vendors, teams, or cross-functional improvement initiatives
- ability to discuss technology with subject matter experts and business value with leadership
- understanding that data quality, process understanding, and user adoption are as important as the technology itself
- ability to manage systems while being curious and proactive enough to build new things
- ability to work closely with operations and understand that solutions must function on Monday mornings even when the day is busy
- ability to be clear, practical, and good at getting people on board
