Job Summary
Assemble PTFE hose products at a bench, performing machine operations for hose preparation and assembly of low, medium, and high-pressure PTFE hose. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to determine cut lengths, finish lengths, and assembly sequences, exercising independent judgment in tooling selection. Maintain a clean work area while prioritizing tasks and reacting to special situations. Guide employees, assist with process improvements, and support engineers with quality issues. Assist in training new hires and developing standard work procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of Teflon Experience.
- Must feel comfortable working in a team environment.
- Know how to prioritize work and react to special situations that arise.
- Required to use independent judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.
- Be able to demonstrate correct methods of manufacturing in the production area to employees and develop standard work procedures.
- Assist in the training of new employees in the classification.
- Guide and assist employees when management is not available.
