Job Summary
Capture stories and content at local school sites weekly while managing regional social media channels and digital marketing efforts. Create written, video, and visual materials for newsletters, donor communications, and promotional campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Draft email communications, event invitations, and marketing collateral like flyers and one-pagers to support recruitment and community engagement. Track engagement analytics and assist in monthly reporting to assess program impact. Collaborate with college mentors and national interns to align messaging and execute awareness campaigns. Represent HealthCorps as an ambassador within your community, attending regional events and partner engagements to showcase program success.
Required Qualifications
- Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic photography, image, and video editing skills
- Graphic design skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Curiosity about trends, social platforms, and youth-centered storytelling
- Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, social media, business, public health, or a related field
- Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to travel to assigned sites, which may include distances of up to 40 miles within Palm Beach County
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with Canva, social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social), and editing platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro), or Adobe Express
