Job Summary
Teen Specialist at the Andre Agassi Club in Las Vegas oversees all teen programs at assigned Clubhouse(s), including planning, development, reporting, and implementation of youth programs in collaboration with the Programs team. May serve as acting Clubhouse supervisor in the absence of the Clubhouse Director and Assistant Director. Essential duties include planning and overseeing teen program objectives, day-to-day activities, ensuring participant engagement and safety, mentoring youth, promoting programs and events, enforcing policies, and occasionally driving Club vans. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of experience with youth in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization, proficiency with Microsoft and/or Google productivity tools, strong communication, and the ability to work with multi-age groups. Compensation starts at $19.00 hourly with full benefits after 60 days; PSLF eligibility and background checks are noted. The role is full-time and on-site at the Andre Agassi Club in Las Vegas, NV.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with middle school and/or high school aged youth
- Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children, small groups of children in activities and free play, and large groups of children in organized activities
- Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and output of others
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (driving position)
