Job Summary
Plans, organizes, promotes, implements, and evaluates programs for club teens under supervision; creates an engaging youth environment, orients new members to teen programs and safety rules, implements and evaluates programs for quality and safety, supervises volunteers and program assistants, maintains attendance and records, and participates in training. Key skills include motivating youth, managing behavior, planning and implementing quality learning programs, supervising members in a safe environment, coordinating supplies, and engaging with external partners during events and field trips. Requires a High School diploma or GED, three years of combined experience or formal training related to teen programming, strong interpersonal abilities, and a valid State Driver’s License. Travel to special events and field trips and daily afternoon/evening hours with occasional weekend work are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Combined experience and/or formal training equivalent to a minimum of three years where experience working with teens and knowledge of youth development
- Formal training/experience in programming for teen interest and participation
- Valid State Driver’s License
