Job Summary
Coordinate and evaluate teen programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta under supervision, plan and promote youth development activities, orient new members, supervise volunteers and program assistants, monitor safety and attendance, manage supplies and facilities, participate in staff meetings, and complete BGCA leadership university courses. Requires high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of experience with teens and youth programming, ability to motivate and manage behavior, public interaction, organizing safe learning activities, and valid Georgia driver's license. Must work daily afternoon/evening hours; occasional weekends; travel to events; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Combined experience and/or formal training equivalent to a minimum of three years where: Experience in working with teens and knowledge of youth development; Formal training, knowledge and/or experience in programming for teen interest and participation
- Valid State Driver’s License
