Job Summary
Part-time Teen Activities Leader at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale delivers high-yield programs to teens, developing and implementing activities using a formal curriculum, running programming with varied methods (lectures, discussions, active games, supervised role play), and administering outcome measurement tools. The role emphasizes safety and cleanliness of program areas, guidance to volunteers, and transporting members when needed, while promoting an inclusive culture and mission-aligned environment. Requirements include being 21+, a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and teamwork skills, proficiency with Microsoft Suite, and a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certifications are recommended.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Passion for working with teens
- Ability to multitask and adapt to Club’s changing needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and cooperative working skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite
- Driver’s license and eligibility to drive Club vehicles
