Job Summary
Coordinate and facilitate engaging teen programming focused on academic success, leadership development, and social-emotional growth. Build positive relationships with youth, families, schools, and community partners while maintaining attendance records, documentation, and outcome tracking data. Develop activities promoting healthy lifestyles and career readiness, then assist with special events, workshops, and service projects. Create a safe, inclusive environment for all participants during the school year (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM) or summer (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Support recruitment, retention, and outreach efforts within the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania network, which annually reaches over 7,500 young individuals through innovative programs.

- PA Criminal History
- FBI Clearance
- NSOR Certificate
- TB Test
- Mandated Reporter Training
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Youth Development, Recreation, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience working with middle or high school-aged youth in an educational, recreational, community-based, or youth development setting
- Minimum of one year of experience managing youth programs, education initiatives, workforce development programs, or community-based initiatives
- Passion for working with adolescents and supporting positive youth development
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and restorative approaches
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to engage youth from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with youth, families, schools, and community partners
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and other technology platforms
