Job Summary
Build safe, trusting relationships with teen members and serve as a positive, consistent role model while supervising and engaging youth with empathy. Plan and lead strengths-based activities, implement weekly programming, and encourage youth voice and participation. Maintain a clean, sensory-friendly environment, manage noise levels, and assist with daily cleaning tasks. Use Club vehicles to transport youth safely, administer first aid, and de-escalate conflict using trauma-informed strategies. Communicate respectfully with families and caregivers. Collaborate with the Teen Director to design inclusive programs that reflect teen interests and social-emotional learning needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must demonstrate high energy, self-awareness, and emotional regulation
- Requires sound judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage group dynamics in active settings
- Must be able to work with diverse populations in a respectful, flexible, and strengths-based manner
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with teens/youth preferred
- Understanding of trauma-informed care, adolescent development, and youth engagement strategies
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead recreational and educational activities
- Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic youth environments
