Job Summary
The Teen Center Attendant will supervise teens, implement activities, and ensure the safety of participants at the YMCA of the Suncoast. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, effective communication skills, and the ability to relate to teens.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must work well with teens and understand the YMCA.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Complete several trainings within specified time frames after hiring.
Desired Qualifications
- Must possess effective communication and organizational skills.
- Must possess a character that is above reproach and worthy of emulation by the teens.
- Ability to relate to teens from all social/economic segments of the community.
- Maturity and engagement skills with youth.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete specific training within 90 days and 6 months of hire.
