Provide comprehensive nursing care to pregnant women, postpartum women, and newborns according to medical and institutional protocols. Perform humanized reception for patients and families while monitoring vital signs, clinical evolution, and reporting any changes to the nurse immediately. Execute nursing procedures within technical and legal competence, adhering to COREN and institutional standards. Assist in obstetric, surgical, and general procedures while maintaining equipment, materials, and inventory levels. Participate actively in infection prevention and control actions, ensuring patient safety culture through proper identification and medication administration. Complete chart reviews and documentation for surgical or obstetric patients with double-checking when necessary.
